Applicants may receive one of the limited numbers of scholarships. Available are full time scholarships from the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD Sur-Place Program for outstanding Vietnamese students and foreign students who come to Vietnam to take part in the course. German students may receive a scholarship for covering living expenses during their stay in Vietnam. Scholarships from DAAD and CNRD are available for all students to study one exchange semester in Germany. Other scholarships might be available on request. In order to apply for the scholarship, please download the scholarship application form and consider the following requirements:

Next to the general application documents applicants have to hand in the following additional documents:

  • DAAD application form: pdf download
  • 2 letters of recommendation from your university; the letter must have a signature and office stamp and must be of recent date
  • as far as possible: German language proof of beginners level (A1/A2)
  • professional letter/s of recommendation from your employer; the letter must have a signature and office stamp and must be of recent date (not in a sealed envelope)
  • confirmation of employment from the employer in your home country and, if possible, a guarantee of re-employment upon your return home
