Future through Cooperation
Exceeding International Challenges

The changing conditions of a globalized world require flexibility and high quality in both teaching and research in higher education. The expansion of international scientific-technical cooperation is the appropriate answer to this challenge.

The Institute for Technology and Resources Management in the Tropics and Subtropics (ITT) promotes this process by providing instruction, research and technology transfer services. The ITT sees itself as an interdisciplinary, intercultural and international interface with the goal of enabling people of varying technical and cultural backgrounds the capacity for wide ranging cooperation and to promote cooperation at the university and post-graduate level. Via interdisciplinary courses and applied research in cooperation with partners in both Germany and throughout the world the ITT meets these goals.
